Ar-Razzaq Islamic Center, a 501(c)(3), has been serving the Muslim community for over 50 years.  It is the oldest Masjid in the State of North Carolina.  Through our Dawah (propagation) efforts, we have been committed to making the life of the Muslim easy and the Muslim culture acceptable to the broader society.

Since 1972, Ar-Razzaq Islamic Center, although the name changed several times, has been located at 1009 West Chapel Hill Street in Durham, NC.  Most recently, the City of Durham targeted our neighborhood for commercial redevelopment -- a plan we support -- which means we have to relocate.

We are undertaking to build a Masjid school complex (by the Grace of Allah) and we ask your financial support.  With your financial contribution, we can build a Masjid school complex that dignifies our religion, the Muslim community and provides a facility where the Sunnah of our Prophet (Salla Allahu Alaihi Wa Salaam) is practiced.

With your support, we pledge to continue to provide services to the Muslim community, such as Jumah, youth summer camp, Arabic classes, Sunday school, and day school. We also pledge to continue Dawah to the broader community - especially through our soup kitchen, local and State government participation, and other community services.
